LOCTITE® 225 is a medium-strength brown liquid threadlocker with medium viscosity. Designed for locking and sealing metal fasteners, it prevents loosening from shock and vibration while allowing disassembly using standard hand tools.
Colour is brown, and the adhesive is liquid with medium viscosity. Viscosity ranges between 17 500–52 500 mPa·s at 2.5 rpm and 5 900–10 300 mPa·s at 20 rpm . Fixture time is approximately 50 minutes with full cure in 24 hours. The product performs reliably between –55 °C and +150 °C. It is available in 50 ml and 250 ml bottles.;
